The study concluded that while posterior–inferior border of the pubic symphysis (PIBS) dose-points are stable (not affected by intrafraction motion) and can differentiate plans with vaginal involvement, additional research is needed to link these point doses with actual vaginal morbidity. Hence, the reliability of dose-point evaluation remains uncertain rather than definitively affirmed or rejected [Limkin et al., 2016, PMID 26778755].
