Antifibrinolytic agents such as ε-aminocaproic acid and tranexamic acid directly counteract excessive fibrinolysis, and replacement of consumed clotting factors with fresh-frozen plasma is also recommended in bleeding after fibrinolytic overdose [Kang, 1987, PMID 3296855; Kovesi & Royston, 2003, PMID 12542728; Fredriksson, 1992, PMID 1615547].
Desmopressin (DDAVP) primarily augments von Willebrand factor/Factor VIII and is used for platelet or vWF-related bleeding, not to reverse fibrinolytic drug overdose, so it is not part of standard management.
