B. Molar

The “anti-Monson” (reverse Monson) curve refers to an inward (lingual-down) inclination applied to the occlusal surfaces of posterior teeth, and it is described for the molar segment of the arch rather than anterior teeth or premolars. Experimental denture studies evaluating flat teeth with different inclinations specifically label the inwardly inclined posterior molars as the “anti-Monson arrangement” [Prombonas & Vlissidis 2009, PMID 18675575].
